Oita Miyoshi saw its two-game winning streak abruptly cut, Saturday.

The Filipino import had a relatively silent performance, contributing 14 points on 12 attacks, a block, and an ace.

The surprise leader for Weisse Adler was 23-year-old Kota Yamada with 21 markers, scattered through 17 spikes, three aces and a block. He was also ultra-efficient in his attacks, going 17-of-23, good for 73.9 percent.

Australian Curtis Stockton also had 15 points to his name, but went 12-of-37 in the attacking department.

Oita Miyoshi slipped to 2-21, still at 10th place but just 1.5 games below VC Nagano at ninth.

Six-foot-11 opposite spiker Thomas Edgar led Hiroshima with 19 points, including three aces as they rose to 11-12.

Taishi Onodera and Yudai Arai manned the net with three blocks apiece, as they finished with 16 and 14 markers, respectively.
