MPL PH: TNC scores come-from-behind win vs Blacklist, takes pole

TNC scored a reverse 2-1 sweep against Blacklist International for its third consecutive win in MPL Philippines Season Nine, Saturday night.

The win put TNC at the number one spot — overtaking ECHO — with 19 points off a 6-3 standing.

TNC punished Blacklist International’s frontline in Game Three, securing a total of seven kills on Dexter “DEX STAR” Alaba (Lolita), Edward “Edward” Dapadap (Benedetta), and Salic “Hadji” Imam past the 11-minute mark.

Ben “Benthings” Maglaque then caught Kiel “OHEB” Soriano’s Kimmy and Kent “Kevier” Aulus with the Noumenon Blast during the second siege to seal the win.

He finished with 10 assists and a kill to lead the 14-2 Game Three win in 14 minutes and 36 seconds.MPL-PH-9-TNC-def-Blacklist-Game-3 MPL PH: TNC scores come-from-behind win vs Blacklist, takes pole ESports Mobile Legends MPL-PH News - philippine sports news

OHEB made the biggest play in Game One, securing the crucial Luminous Lord in the 22:17-mark that allowed Blacklist International to gut out a tight 21-11 win in 23 minutes and 31 seconds.

After securing the objective, Edward “Edward” Dapadap (Esmeralda) sacrificed himself to defend the middle lane base turret.

Moments later, Blacklist International took out Jomarie “Escalera” Delos Santos’ Kagura, Mark “Kramm” Rusiana’s Gloo, Daniel “SDzyz” Chuu’s Ling, and Robee “Yasuwo” Pormocille’s Popol and Kupa, and Benthings (Franco), respectively, to complete the siege.

Salic “Hadji” Imam (Lunox), who kept Blacklist International alive multiple times, finished with eight kills and 10 assists against two deaths in the Game One win while OHEB had four kills, two deaths, and eight assists.MPL-PH-9-TNC-def-Blacklist-Game-1 MPL PH: TNC scores come-from-behind win vs Blacklist, takes pole ESports Mobile Legends MPL-PH News - philippine sports news

Looking to even things up, Benthings secured the game-winning play in Game Two to help TNC overcome Blacklist International, 16-5, in 16 minutes and 29 seconds.

After a failed siege on the top lane, TNC positioned in the middle lane where Benthings (Khufra) caught Edward (Esmeralda) with the Tyrant’s Revenge-Tyrant’s Rage combo. That kick-started a four-man wipe for TNC which helped them bag the win.

Kramm took the spotlight with two kills, two deaths, and six assists in the Game Two win while Benthings added 10 assists laced with two kills and a death.MPL-PH-9-TNC-def-Blacklist-Game-2 MPL PH: TNC scores come-from-behind win vs Blacklist, takes pole ESports Mobile Legends MPL-PH News - philippine sports news

Blacklist International will play Nexplay EVOS next on Friday at 8:00 PM while TNC will go up against ECHO next Saturday at 4:00 PM.
