SMART CLARK GIGA CITY – Phoenix Super LPG wasted the career night of Ray Parks as it beat TNT, 110-103, to tie their 2020 PBA Philippine Cup semifinal series at a game apiece, Friday night at the AUF Sports and Cultural Center.
The Fuel Masters lost hold of an 18-point lead early as the Tropang Giga rallied and even took a 92-90 lead with 5:13 remaining but Calvin Abueva, Alex Mallari, and Jason Perkins made sure that no collapse would take place.
The trio connived for eight straight points for a 98-92 lead with 3:10 to go. TNT chopped it to three, but Perkins then took over by scoring seven in a 9-2 run that gave Phoenix a 107-97 advantage with 46.2 ticks left.
