Pringle, Ginebra exact vengeance on Meralco, move on verge of PBA Bubble Finals

SMART CLARK GIGA CITY – Barangay Ginebra got back at Meralco, 91-84, to seize the pivotal 2-1 lead in their 2020 PBA Philippine Cup semifinal clash Sunday night at the SMART 5G-powered AUF Sports and Cultural Center.

The Gin Kings vented their frustrations from Game Two’s loss right from the get-go with a 22-5 start to seize control of the match, before warding off comeback attempts by the Bolts late in the game to secure the win.

Stanley Pringle rebounded from a measly nine-point outing last game, finishing with 24 points on a 50-percent clip on top of nine rebounds and six assists to steer the Barangay closer to the Finals.

Prince Caperal made his presence felt as well with 15 points and six rebounds. LA Tenorio and Japeth Aguilar each had 12 markers, with the latter adding 13 rebounds and four blocks to his name.

Game Four is on Wednesday.
