Jeremiah Gray enters name in PBA Draft

Another player from the Alab trio has entered the 2022 PBA Rookie Draft.

Jeremiah Gray has submitted his application form to the PBA’s office in Libis, Pasig earlier this week, declaring his intention to enter the festivities set on May 15 at Robinson’s Place Malate.

Gray’s uncle Anton Brodett confirmed the development to Tiebreaker Times.

Gray, 25, is a 6-foot-5 winger out of Division II school Dominican University of California.

He then went on to play for BBC Sparta Bertrange in Luxembourg, Mighty Sports, Alab, and TNT 3×3.

Gray, though, suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) back on November 27 during TNT’s game against Limitless that forced him out of the rest of the PBA 3×3 season.

The Filipino-American guard has been rehabbing in the US for the past few months and is just a few months away from a return.

Gray joins Brandon Rosser in the top-heavy class. Jason Brickman had earlier renewed with T1 team Kaohsiung, dimming the possibility of him playing in the PBA.

The trio initially applied for last year’s draft but lacked BI recognition and the DOJ affirmation documents. The league has since abolished those two requirements.

Once signed by a 5-on-5 club, Gray will no longer be allowed to play in PBA 3×3.
