Far Eastern University strengthened its postseason bid with a 109-65 victory over University of Santo Tomas in the second round of the UAAP Season 84 Men’s Basketball Tournament, Sunday afternoon, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The result means FEU ends the elimination round with a 7-7 record, which eliminates Adamson from Final Four contention. If National University fails to beat De La Salle University later then the Tamaraws formalize entry into the semi-finals.
On the other hand, UST ends its campaign with a 3-11 record.
