Ken Tuffin will remain in New Zealand for the time being.
Months after helping Wellington win the 2021 New Zealand-National Basketball League crown, the Filipino-Kiwi will look to steer the Saints to the top of the league’s 3×3 tournament.
Composing Tuffin’s team though will be determined through a draft.
During the lottery held last Wednesday, the Saints will get both the seventh and 14th picks.
Another Fil-Kiwi in Richie Rodger was tasked to be the skipper of Otago, on the other hand.
The Nuggets will pick fourth and 17th.
Other teams competing are Nelson, Northland, Hawke’s Bay, Auckland, Franklin, Canterbury, Southland, and Taranaki.
The draft will take place on September 1.
The Schick NBL 3×3 Cup takes place on October 14-16 at ILT Stadium Southland.
