Kai Sotto will honor his commitment to Gilas Pilipinas.
The 18-year-old Filipino will suit up for the national team’s FIBA Asia Cup teams and the team that will compete in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
“I would like to announce that I will be part of the team that will play for the OQT and the Asia Cup,” he said.
“Alam naman natin na pag sinabi na Kai Sotto, lagi naglalaro para sa Pilipinas.”
The Asia Cup Qualifiers takes place this June in Clark while the tournament proper takes place from August 3 to 15 in Indonesia.
On the other hand, the OQT will be held in Belgrade from June 29 to July 4.
