South Korea to have Ra GunA, two youngsters for Clark window

South Korea has unveiled its final 12 lineup for the upcoming Clark window of the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers.

Set to make his Qualifiers debut is Ra GunA, who is formerly known as Ricardo Ratliffe.

The naturalized Korean did not play in the first two games of the Qualifiers as he was focused with his club team JeonJu.

Also part of the team is Ra’s teammate Lee Junghyun and Goyang Orion’s Lee Daesung.

Interesting additions to the team are young guns Lee Hyunjung and Yeo JunSeok.

Lee Hyunjung is a freshman at NCAA Division I school Davidson College while Yeo was the MVP of the Basketball Without Borders Asia Camp 2019.

Completing the squad are Song GyoChang, Lee SeongHyun, Jeon SeongHyun, Byun JunHyung, Yang HongSeok, Kim NakHyun, and Kang SangJae.

Cho SangHyun will also make his debut as head coach of the national team.

South Korea will play four games in five days in Clark, facing Gilas on the 16th and the 20th, Indonesia on the 17th, and Thailand on the 19th.

South Korea is 2-0.
