Allana Lim of Paranaque defeated Snow PeƱaranda of Pacific Water, 20-17, in the main event of the inaugural NBL-WNBL-IBC 1v1 basketball games held at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga, Saturday evening.
Lim pulled away after scoring four straight points in the third and final round of the contest that lived up to the billing at the start of the series of 1v1 matches to be organized by the National Basketball League, Womenās National Basketball League, and Isolation Basketball Championship.
The main event was a tight contest with Lim, who will play for the ParaƱaque Lady Aces in the coming season of the WNBL, holding a slim 15-14 early in the third round before Lim racked successive points to capture the victory in the competition supported by Chooks-to-Go.

Besides Lim, it was a field day for the Lady Aces as Jhenn Angeles defeated STAN Quezonās Angelica De Austria in the womenās lightweight, 17-6.
A couple more Paranaque lady cagers won via a free throw shootout as Lady Aces heavyweight Girly Villaflores edged Quezonās Jo Razalo, 19-17, while welterweight Sthefanie Ventura outlasted Glutagenceās Nic Cancio, 14-12.
Pacific Waterās Jolina Go routed Glutagenceās Nicole Delos Reyes, 14-4, in the womenās featherweight.
In other results, Teytey Teodoro, who will play for Kapatagan, Lanao Del Norte in the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas VisMin Super Cupās Mindanao Leg, stunned Cameroonian Arnaud Noah, 20-15, in the showcase heavyweight match of this card that is also presented by Anytime Fitness, Uratex, Gatorade, and GIG Sportswear.
The 1v1 slate also saw runway victories with Lagunaās Raymart Amil blanking Sulong Stanās Marvin Baracael, 10-0, in the menās welterweight for a technical knockout, which means a win with a margin of 10 points or more.
Quezonās Topeng Lagrama routed Taguigās Mark Tamayo, 18-8, in the featherweight class.
