Dwight Ramos is starting to find his groove. But his effort was not enough to lift Toyama to its breakthrough win in the 2021-22 B.League season.
The Grouses’ gallant stand was not enough to buckle Ryukyu, absorbing an 88-95 loss, Saturday at the Toyama Seibutai Sports Center.
After averaging just 7.5 points in his first two games of the season, Ramos scores 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting from the field with four rebounds, an assist, and a steal.
Ryukyu though proved too much in the endgame.
Toyama went down to 0-7 while Ryukyu rose to 5-2.
The two teams will tussle once more tomorrow at 12:05PM.
