Kalei Mau believes F2 will still be a force in PVL

For Kalei Mau, F2 Logistics is no doubt the best team in the country right now.

And well, she has the record to back it up.

The Cargo Movers showed pure dominance in the PNVF Champions League, after all. They swept all of their matches to cap off the tournament with an immaculate 5-0 record.

F2 Logistics secured the title via a 25-20, 25-20, 25-22 victory against Premier Volleyball League champion Chery Tiggo – who played without Jaja Santiago – on Thursday at the Aquamarine Sports Complex.

With this performance, Mau is more than confident that the Cargo Movers will do very well in their Premier Volleyball League debut next year.

“I think we are the best team in the country. F2 Logistics without a doubt… Like there’s not a team that works harder than us, that wants it more than us, that gels like us,” opined Mau.

“I’m really, really confident that we will do well in the PVL.”

Early this year, the Cargo Movers were the last Philippine Superliga team to move to the PVL.

But before the competition, F2 Logistics had to pull out, citing numerous injuries to its team. Mau also signed with Puerto Rican team Changos de Naranjito.

If ever they compete in the PVL, Mau believes that they will be a force.

“We live for the challenges. We live for the competition and this is what we love to do. So really excited to go against the teams that I have personally never played against,” she added.

“That’s what I love so looking forward to that.”

The Filipina-American hitter’s PVL debut, however, is still uncertain. For now, she will suit up with Athletes Unlimited in the United States.

AU’s second season will be in March, while the PVL is looking at February to start the Open Conference.

Whatever the future may hold, Mau assured them that she will come back to F2 Logistics as soon as she finishes her commitment in the US.
