Aura PH rode Christian “Rafflesia” Fajura’s Grock in Game Three to secure a come-from-behind 2-1 victory against Work Auster Force in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Seven, Friday.
Sticking to what worked in Game Two, Rafflesia picked up the Grock with the High and Dry emblem once more. He invaded Work Auster Force’s jungle along with Killuash’s Khaleed in Game Three.
Though this delayed Daniel “Chuuu” Chu’s Karrie in terms of net worth, Patrick “rTzy” Ibarra’s Kadita managed to set crucial plays. That allowed Chu to keep in step with Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz’s Lancelot.
Aura PH then secured the lord entering the 13-minute mark of Game Three. Still, what sealed the victory for them is the four-man Wild Charge of Rafflesia, which set up the finishing kick for Aura PH against Work.
Rafflesia won MVP honors in the decider with 10 assists laced with three kills. Killuash went perfect for Aura PH, scoring five kills and an assist, while Allen “Greed_” Baloy (Kagura) had five kills and four assists against three deaths.
Chuuu spearheaded Work with four kills, a death, and four assists, while rTzy had three kills, four deaths, and four assists.
Work Auster Force actually started the series strong with Dylan “Unravel” Catipon’s Diggie leading the rookies to a dominant Game One start along with Chuu’s Bruno. Since then, the top squad from the main qualifiers has not let go of their lead.
RTzy’s Lunox supplied the bulk of the damage for the neophytes, while Chu focused on taking down objectives with his Bruno.
Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales tried to buy some time for the former MPL champion with a hail mary Flicker-Deadly Catch combo. But it was not enough, as Work Auster Force took the opening victory with ease
Aura PH, though, came back with vengeance in Game Two. With Rafflesia’s damage-centered Grock, the two-time MPL titlist set up the tempo for the entire Game Two.
Bennyqt’s unorthodox Bane pick, which did not work in Game One, showed up with an MVP performance posting three kills and five assists in the 11-5 Game Two win.
Taking the top spot in Group A is Aura PH with a 1-0 standing. On the other hand, Work Auster Force dropped last with a 0-1 card.
Aura PH will go up against Blacklist International at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 21. Work Auster Force looks to enter the win column against ONIC PH at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 9.
