Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is set for a comeback in the 31st Southeast Asian Games hosted by Vietnam.

Vietnam’s Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Nguyen Ngoc Thien officially signed the list of esports events last March 24, Wednesday.

Bannered by Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno and Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel back in 2019, the Philippines was able to capture the SEA Games gold medal at the expense of a powerhouse Indonesia squad which was composed of members of the EVOS Legends, which was coming off a momentous victory in the M1 World Championship.

Allan “Lusty” Castromayor, Jeniel “Haze” Bata-anon, and Kenneth “Kenji” Villa completed Sibol’s starting five while CJ “Ribo” Ribo and Jay “Jay” Torculas rounded up the squad.

The core of KarlTzy, Pheww, and Lusty went on to join Ribo in BREN Esports after the SEA Games. They have won an MPL-Philippines title, a The Nationals championship, and the M2 World Championship since.
