Jack Animam added another trophy to her already epic collection.
Animam was named to the 2020-21 All-University Basketball Alliance team, Sunday evening at Taiwan University gym.
Unlike here, the UBA honors the statistical leaders in five categories, namely league-leader in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.
The 6-foot-2 Bulacan-native was named to it after leading the league in rebounds with 14.1 per-game counts.
Animam, who is taking a master’s degree in public relations and advertising at Shih Hsin University, also averaged 17.1 points, 2.6 steals, and 1.9 blocks per contest.
This honor adds to Animam’s collection that already has the UAAP Season 80 Most Valuable Player trophy, UAAP Season 81 Finals MVP plum, four All-UAAP team citations, UAAP Season 78 Rookie of the Year, two Southeast Asian Games gold medals, and the first-ever PSA Ms. Basketball award.
And she did this at just the young age of 22 years old.
Moreover, the National University product ended her collegiate career with a 96-0 record and six championships.
Animam’s teammate Lin Die was crowned as the Finals MVP after tallying 21 points and 13 boards in the Tigers’ 70-51 win over National Taiwan Normal, earlier in the day. Chen Yuti also won an award for popular post.
Also making the All-UBA team were points-leader Chen Zhiying of Taiwan University of Science and Technology (20.0 points), assists-leader Huang Qiaojun of Chinese Cultural (4.6 assists), Li Yinchen of SHU (2.9 steals), and Shao Yu of National Taiwan University (2.8 blocks).
Zheng Huici of Chinese Culture University won Rookie of the Year.
