John Anthony “Natsumi-“ Vargas finally made his return as OB Esports x Neon thrashed Team SOOS in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2020-21, Tuesday afternoon.
Natsumi- — who missed OB.Neon’s magical run in the ONE Esports Singapore Major – put up nine kills and 18 assists against one death playing Bloodseeker in the Filipinos’ 48-12 demolition of the Singaporean squad.
Offlaner Gabriel “debil_2000” Ong (Queen of Pain) reverted back to his old position, finishing with a total of 14 kills, a death, and five assists to lead OB.Neon’s strike while midlaner Erin “Yopaj” Ferrer (Batrider) added seven kills and 19 assists against four deaths.
It was a perfect game for OB.Neon, with supports Prieme “PlayHard” Maque (Tusk) and Jaunuel “Jaunuel” Arcilla (Lion) combining for 39 assists, 18 kills, and just six deaths.
The squad had to play online with the troika of PlayHard, debil_2000, and Jaunuel are still in Singapore while Yopaj, who was the first OB.Neon member to go home, was in his quarantine hotel. Meanwhile, Natsumi- is currently in his hometown in Cebu.
SOOS carry nosq was held to just nine deaths and two assists while midlaner Sequinox had six kills, nine deaths, and four assists.
OB.Neon Esports will advance to the upper bracket semifinals where they will await the winner between the TNC-PSTR quarterfinals match.
