TNC Predator just started its road to redemption.
The new-look TNC, who was coming off a dismal stint in the ONE Esports: Singapore Major, breezed past OB Esports x Neon via a 2-0 sweep to win its second-straight Asia Pacific Predator League 2020-21 title, Sunday evening.
Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte’s dominant Io performance, along with crucial hookshots from Marvin “Boomy” Rushton’s Clockwerk, towed TNC’s Game One victory over OB.Neon.
The 22-year-old Gabbi registered a perfect 7-0-13 stat line for TNC.
The Bristleback-Winter Wyvern combo of Armel “Armel” Tabios and Boomy then paved the way for TNC’s dominant Game Two en route to its third Predator League championship.
Gabbi, who played Queen of Pain, also made his presence felt in the title-clincher, putting up a crucial Rampage at the 25:13-mark of the match.
OB.Neon — who was just coming off a magical run in the Singapore Major — called GG entering the 29th minute. This is OB.Neon’s first loss in the tournament.
TNC Predator and OB.Neon will be competing in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 Season Two Southeast Asia upper division which will open on Wednesday, April 14.
