Renz “Renzio” Cadua’s Paquito pulled out all the stops needed in Game Three as Execration ran away with a 2-1 victory over rival Nexplay Esports in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Seven regular season, Thursday evening.
With Execration looking to secure the lord entering, Renzio successfully fended off the Nexplay contingent from contesting during the crucial juncture of Game Three.
The two-time MPL-Philippines champion scored a triple kill in the process. Duane “Kelra” Pillas’ Khaleed then took down the lord for Execration in the 14:21-mark.
Renzio, who constantly mirrored James “Jeymz” Gloria’s Benedetta in the map, finished with four kills and six assists against just a death. He was named the Smart MVP in the 26-16 Game Three win.
Meanwhile, Kelra spearheaded the cleaning crew with nine kills and seven assists against just two deaths. Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic added eight kills and 10 assists against just four deaths with his Eudora.
Jeymz led Nexplay with five kills, two deaths, and three assists.
Ch4knu’s constant aggression with his Chou allowed Kielvj’s Lancelot to pick up the early kills he needed to scale early in the match.
This negated Nexplay Esports’ double marksman composition of John Paul “H2wo” Salonga’s Karrie and Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcarse’s Wanwan.
Ch4knu’s four-man knock-up with the Jeet Kune Do sealed the deal for Execration’s 13-6 Game One win in just 11 minutes and 41 seconds of game time.
Kielvj posted six kills and three assists without a death. Kelra’s Harith finished with five kills and four assists against one death en route to the Smart MVP award.
Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera, though, powered Nexplay Esports’ dominant 19-5 Game Two win to even the series at 1-all.
He finished with a game-high 12 assists laced with two kills and two assists. That also won him the Smart MVP award in the 12:11-minute match.
Execration (2-2) forged a three-way tie with Omega Esports (2-1) and Nexplay Esports (2-3) in the second spot with six points each in Group B.
The Season Six third placer will take on Laus Playbook Esports tomorrow at 4:00 pm. On the other hand, Nexplay looks to end its slump against Blacklist International on Saturday at 2:00
