Gilas Pilipinas will get a chance to exorcise the Korean curse twice come the February window of the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers.
The Philippines will face Korea on February 18 and 22 in the schedule released by FIBA, Sunday evening.
On the 20th, Gilas take on Indonesia as well.
The schedule favors the Philippines since Korea will play four games in five days.
After missing the Manama bubble, Korea will also take on Indonesia on the 19th and Thailand on the 20th.
Gilas has yet to beat Korea since the 2013 FIBA Asia Cup.
FIBA will not sanction Korea for missing the Manama bubble, citing the dangers of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic as accepted by the world governing body.
The Indonesia-Thailand game will also be played on the 22nd.
Gilas currently leads Pool A with a 3-0 record followed by Korea at 2-0. Indonesia is 1-2, while Thailand is at the bottom with an 0-3 slate.
Indonesia gains an automatic berth for the Asia Cup as it will host the continental meet scheduled to take place from August 17-29.
