Thirdy Ravena will get to play with and against the best-of-the-best the B.League has to offer.
This as the 6-foot-2 Asian import has been selected to take part in the B.League All-Star Game. It takes place from January 15-16, 2021 in Mito, Japan.
Ravena is averaging 9.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.42 assists in seven games played.
Ravena, who was selected as a ‘B.League recommendation’, will play for B.White which is coached by Kawasaki head coach Kenji Sato.
Joining Ravena in B.White are fan selections Yuki Togashi and Sebastian Saiz of Chiba; Ryusei Shinoyama and Nick Fazekas of Kawasaki; and Kosuke Kanamaru of Mikawa.
Completing the team are Jordan Taylor of Hokkaido; Gavin Edwards of Chiba; Keisuke Masuda and Naoto Tsuji of Kawasaki; Avi Schafer of Mikawa; and Narito Namizato of Ryukyu.
They face off against a B.Black squad headlined by Yuta Tabuse and coached by Alvark’s Luka Pavićević.
Joining Utsonomiya’s Tabuse are his teammates Makoto Hiejima, Ryan Rossiter, and Jeff Gibbs; and Toyoma’s Julian Mavunga. Hiejima though is currently nursing an injury and might miss the event.
Alvark’s Yutaro Suda and Daiki Tanaka; Shibuya’s Leo Vendrame; Toyoma’s Richard Solomon; Takumi Saito of Nagoya; Hiroshima’s Isaia Murphy; and Ibaraki’s Atsunobu Hirao.
The 13th member of each squad will be announced on Wednesday, December 16.
