Ben Adamos foregoes final year in Perps, to enter PBA Draft

Ben Adamos is set to move on to the next chapter of his life.

This as the 6-foot-6 stretch big man is foregoing his final year with University of Perpetual Help System DALTA to enter the 2021 PBA Rookie Draft.

Adamos, 24, only played one year in Perpetual, averaging 11.6 points on 45.1-percent shooting from the field, 30.8-percent from downtown, to go along with 8.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per contest.

Prior to Perpetual, he started his collegiate career with Technological Institute of the Philippines before playing for San Beda from NCAA Seasons 92-93. He averaged 4.03 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.

He also played for Bacolod-Master’s Sardines in the MPBL, norming 8.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per contest.

Though the decision was tough, it was one that is necessary for Adamos as he wants to help out his parents who have been struggling during the on-going pandemic.

To help in his transition to the pros, Adamos has signed with agent Ed Ponceja.
