BRAVE CF champ Stephen Loman to test MMA free agency

It seems that Stephen Loman is ready to move out of BRAVE CF.

This as the reigning BRAVE CF World Bantamweight Champion will test the waters of free agency.

“It was mission accomplished.

“I did what I had to do which is capture the belt, defend it, and become the longest-reigning world champion in Brave,” read his statement.

Loman was part of BRAVE CF’s first-ever show back in September of 2016 in Bahrain. He was 6-2 in his young career then.

The native of Baguio City would dominate the promotion, racking up seven straight wins.

Loman won the bantamweight championship after finishing Gary Mangat last November 17, 2017. He would successfully defend the belt against the likes of Frans Mlambo, Felipe Efrain, Elias Boudegzdame, and Louie Sanoudakis.

All in all, Loman held the belt for 1,147 days.

“Really, hard work pays off and as I leave, I want to say that it was an honor to fight in Brave and to hold and wave our nation’s flag there. It was so fulfilling to represent the Philippines in Europe and in Asia,” expressed Loman.

“I hope to be part of another promotion and prove that I am indeed a champion. It was a great journey with Brave and expect that I’ll keep pressing on and continue to be an inspiration.”

It is still unknown though if BRAVE has a champion’s clause which keeps reigning champions under contract until the mixed martial artist loses the belt or retires.
