Filipino-American guard Jordan Clarkson gave back to two Filipino frontliners.
In an episode of NBA Philippines’ Republika Huddle, Clarkson surprised teacher CD Lastimosa and doctor Jelvin Co – two big fans of the former Gilas guard.
“You guys are real heroes. You keep this thing whole thing moving. What you do is harder than putting the ball in the basket,” said Clarkson, paying tribute to all Filipino frontliners who have given the ultimate sacrifice during the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
“Thank you. You guys see everything in making a change and difference. I appreciate everything you do for everybody, I hope you continue to do great things.”
Clarkson will definitely be inspired entering the new season of the NBA which begins on Wednesday (PHT).
Republika Huddle has been a pleasant treat of the biggest basketball league in the world to Filipino fans.
Besides having special guests from the NBA, WNBA, and the G League on a weekly basis, the show has also given a local flair to the American league by having local analysts and coaches on the show.
The NBA airs One Sports, TV5, Cignal, and NBA TV Philippines.
