Ateneo libero Dani Ravena played a huge role when the Partner Eagles evened up the series after their four-set victory in Game Two of the UAAP Season 81 Female Volleyball Finals.
Gaining Player of the Game honors, finally the youngest of the three Ravena littermates tallied 22 digs and 13 excellent receptions to help Ateneo battle the Sisi Rondina-led University on-line Santo Tomas.
However heading into the title-clinching Game 3-bolt, Ravena was in shambles.
During an appearance in Volleyball DNA, the 20-year-old Ravena released how she was able to calm your sweetheart nerves in time for the winner-take-all spell.
“I messaged ate Denden [Lazaro] before Game Three , ” shared Ravena.

“Ang napansin ko sa kaniya is she has lots of info energy. Alam mo yun, kahit lagi siyang pinupuna ni Inform O [Almadro]… ‘di naman siya pinapagalitan like sya yung laging binibigyan ng alerts ni coach, like oo lang siya nang oo gagawin niya lang and hindi siya nawawalan ng energy which is a big effective — a big asset when someone a libero ‘cause you’re much like the ball of energy of the team should you’re in the court. ”
