BREN continues to break boundaries, promotes Kolin to The Nationals team

BREN Epro became the second team in recent history to field a female player in their Mobile Legends roster.

The kings of MPL-Philippines Season Six has added Colleen “Kolin” Cruz in their Season Two lineup.

Kolin has been playing for BREN Esports’ all-female team Victress for a long-time now. She last played in Liga Adarna, wherein BREN Victress figured in a controversial finish against ArkAngel FE.

Just last year, SMART Omega inserted Niña “Niña” Balayon in their MPL-Philippines Season Five roster. Niña failed to see the screen that season, sitting out all games for Omega.

BREN Epro also fielded an all-female team in the Dota 2 conference — the first in the tournament.

Mico “Coco” Sampang will be returning to professional play after being replaced by Charles David “FlapTzy” Canon in the latest season of MPL-Philippines.

Completing the seven-person squad are all MPL-Philippines team members Angelo Kyle “Pheww” Arcangel, CJ “Ribo” Ribo, and Karl Gabriel “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, along with reserve Efphraim “Ejhaaay” Sambrano.

BREN Epro won the season finale of The Nationals, denying PLDT-Smart Omega the grand slam.

Last season’s BREN Epro squad was composed of selected players from the flagship franchise and two-time MPL-Philippines champion Sunsparks.
